Takara Tomy Co., Ltd. which is a Japanese toy, children’s merchandise and entertainment company created from the merger of two companies: Tomy (founded in 1924 as Tomiyama) and long-time rival, Takara (founded in 1955), on 1 March 2006, always comes up with its new toy’s inventions. This time Takara Tomy has come up with Augmented Reality-Powered Fishing Reel Toy.
Sometimes this happens that you like to go fishing but have to sit in school or in your office all day. Now you need not to be worried as Takara Tomy might have the solution for you: their so-called “Virtual Master Real” is essentially a fishing game built into some kind of “electronic fishing reel”. though this toy is not that original but tha main point is the so-called Augmented Reality mode. By superimposing virtual fish over the real-world locations the reel “augments” the fishing experience in this mode and you film with the 0.3MP camera that’s built into the device. You can take example of being able to see people with swimming fish around them.
Takara Tomy also says there will be force feedback with realistic sounds. This toy also has reflexive action, for example when you catch a virtual fish. The “Virtual Master Real” will go on sale in Japan in July (price: $77). To get one for you in case you don’t live in Japan, you can ask specialized stores like Rinkya
Hey, these toys sound too good. Electronic fishing reel is an amazing game. Playing with this game is really a great experience. This game is inspiring by fishing.
