    For example, if someone has 20K+ followers on their account and they’re following 1000+ accounts (which means they’re already doing pretty well), then that person might be worth following back if they have any ideas or tips for improving their own posting game (or maybe even just good advice).

    • Engage with people who have similar audiences/followers to yours. These are known as “like” targets because when someone likes an image or post by another user we’ll receive notifications about their activity too. 

    Tag relevant users in your photos

    One of the most important things you can do on Instagram is to tag people who you think would be interested in what you’re posting. If they like it, they’ll probably follow you too. Also, use Picuki for viewing posts and stories that are kept private. 

    But how do you find these users? You can use an app like Rankly or Instagress to find them. Or maybe someone already follows one of your other accounts and tagged him/her in their latest photo (then tag him/her back). 

    Either way, once tagged by someone else, that person will see that he/she has been included in an “interesting post” from another account and might decide to check out both accounts for themselves.

    Comment on other accounts posts

    You should also comment on other accounts’ posts. This is an easy way to get noticed, and it can help you build up your Instagram following.
