Welcome to this Subscribe2 HTML Plugin Review 2016!
Why do you need the Subscribe2 HTML plugin?
Well, if you have your own website or blog, or if you’re an ebook writer, you will probably have an e-mail subscriber list. So every time you write a new blog post or have a new book on Amazon, your subscribers will be notified about it.
What does Subscribe2 HTML do?
It manages your mail lists, as simple as that. There are several great mail list managers out there, but it’s Subscribe2 HTML that we like the best as it doesn’t require you to log-in and compose the emails every time before sending them. This saves you a lot of time and you can notify your readers of your new posts almost immediately. That’s why Subscribe2 HTML makes for such a great plugin for your WordPress blog.
The Subscribe2 HTML plugin can be used only on a WordPress 2.0.x blog and should be hosted on servers that allow you to send e-mails with BCC: headers. Otherwise, it doesn’t work.
With the Subscribe2 HTML you get two levels of subscription, for your WordPress blog – “Registered Subscribers” and “Public Subscribers.” Registered Subscribers are essentially users who have registered with the blog – they are required to log-in to manage their own subscriptions and choose either plain text or HTML email format.
This allows them to receive notifications when posts are made in different categories. Registered Subscribers can opt to receive just an excerpt of the post if they choose to. Otherwise, they will be sent the full post on selecting the plain text option.
Public Subscribers can subscribe online through a web-based form. All requests sent to them should receive an email confirmation, only then their subscription is said to have started. They don’t get a choice between getting an excerpt or a plain text with this option.
As an administrator of your blog, you can subscribe or unsubscribe users, and send out an email to all of your confirmed subscribers. It is your job to configure the email templates that are sent for new post notifications and subscription or unsubscription requests.
Installing the Subscribe2 HTML is really easy. It comes with a simple WP plug-in control panel and does not affect any of the other plugins on your site upon installation. You can subscribe to the paid version of the Subscribe2 HTML plugin for best results. The plugin offers a great selection of subscriber options and notification settings, such as the frequency at which you would like to send your emails, as well as the time of the day to send the email at.
With Subscribe2 HTML, you can send set the frequency option for each post, once in an hour, twice a day, once a day, once a week or twice a month. The paid version of the plugin allows you to work with a vast collection of templates, pictures and backgrounds as well.
What we liked about the Subscribe2 HTML plugin is that it is fully automated and saves its users a lot of time. You can just set the frequency at which your emails are sent at once a week, and forget all about it. The Subscribe2 HTML plugin takes care of everything and ensures that your subscribers get what they want.
