I have reviewed quite a few email marketing software in the past on GeekersMagazine.com and on our sister sites, but one that somehow escaped my notice was iContact. Having tried iContact recently, I can attest that it is the best email marketing software 2016.
It offers a number of great features that allow you to create dynamic and powerful email campaigns and gives you all the tools you need as an internet marketer or as a small business owner. iContact has a simple, intuitive interface and anybody can master it, even those who have never used an email marketing software before.
In this iContact review 2016, I’m going to tell you everything you need to know about this software. In particular, I am going to focus on how iContact helps you create an email marketing campaign.
iContact has a very high email deliverability rate. When reviewing email marketing software, I pay a lot of attention to email deliverability – it is the likelihood that an email sent through your campaign is actually read by the intended recipient instead of ending as SPAM. I’m happy to report that iContact has an email deliverability of 99%, which is as high as it gets in the industry. This is very impressive indeed. Most of the emails that I sent through iContact made it through. iContact lets you know if a reader has opened your email or forwarded it, or whether the email has bounced.
Integration with the Social Media
To make sure that as many people read your newsletter as possible, you can post your emails sent through iContact on various social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. iContact tells you how well you are doing and how well your followers engage with your content. It gives you the stats on how many people shared, liked or tweeted your content.
iContact has an excellent autoresponder that greets new subscribers to your newsletter and triggers automated responses to basic queries. The autoresponder sends out emails on specific, pre-determined dates and takes action as needed. It also does things like sending birthday wishes to each of your subscribers.
iContact has a simple interface which has all the tools you need to open a template, or edit text or images. There is a help button that helps you when in doubt. Clicking on the help button would open a sidebar with a tutorial, links and task pages. You don’t need to have any technical expertise to get started with iContact. You can use the tutorials to get up to speed with the software, and after a day or two of use, you will be able to operate all the tools and features on iContact with confidence. The software has a number of templates which are organized in important categories such as technology, finance, education and insurance.
Custom Designed Email Templates
iContact offers to custom design the templates for your emails and newsletters in case you want them to add a personalized touch to them, for an extra fee. This is a very useful feature, and iContact is one of the few email marketing solutions that does this for clients. Many internet marketers and small businesses prefer to pay more to send emails and newsletters in unique and customized templates rather than in those that are too generic.
Import Your Contacts with Ease
You can now import your contacts with absolute ease on iContact. The software makes it easy to upload a file of contacts and to add them individually. It also allows you to copy and paste a list of contacts and fills up the information in the fields next them automatically.
How Much Does iContact Cost?
iContact is available in several different plans, at various prices, depending on the number of subscribers. You can check the details on iContact plans and pricing here. The basic iContact email marketing plan costs $52/month.
I hope you enjoyed this iContact Review 2016. iContact helps you create a highly effective email marketing campaign. It makes it easy for you to sign up new subscribers. It has a very user friendly interface and a high email deliverability rate. It integrates your email marketing campaign with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. For these reasons, I recommend it highly. You will find more information on the official iContact website here.
